NEWS:
07/16/08 - Our scheduled time in Gates is over. So until we get our new mats we will have to cancel some practices. Keep checking the website to see when classes will resume.
06/26/08 - Jimmy Darabi and Eric Rivera participated in the 2008 Hoosier Open Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Tournament (double elimination) on July 12. Jimmy lost his first match by 6 points, he then went on to win his next two matches by submission (arm bar & GI choke). Jimmy was eliminated in the semi-finals, losing his fourth match by 5 points. Jimmy competed in the white belt, light weight division. Eric took first place in the white belt, unlimited weight division. Eric won both of his matches by a sizable point margin. Not a single point was scored against Eric in either of his matches! IPFW Jujitsu is very proud of our competitors and is excited about our future competition schedule.
